Charlie and Sarah Moyer were both born and raised in Southern California. They came to Arizona seeking a quieter, slower pace lifestyle. One weekend, when visiting Queen Creek (San Tan Valley) during a house tour arranged by a local realtor, they found what they were looking for; a small sub division bordered on three sides by beautiful farmland. Six months later they received keys on a new build home, and began a new journey as Arizonians.
Charlie, a programming engineer, has long had a passion for firearms. Realizing that there is always a possibility that the programming niche he is employed in could one day be a thing of the past, Charlie and Sarah began brainstorming on building a home based business based on a long lived hobby. After much research they started the process of being licensed by the ATF, and becoming Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealers.
In March 2012 their license was finalized and C & S Firearms was finally open for business. Charlie and Sarah decided to keep the business home based to be able to offer the lowest prices without the overhead expense. Charlie built his first AR15 for a customer two months after opening, and discovered a new passion; custom building rifles.
